A reader contribution can be short and make one clear point. A guest column can go into more depth and carry your personal voice. You do not need to be an experienced writer.
Paste the text into your email. Tell us which name or pen name you would like to use and include sources for factual claims. Mention any connection to the subject that readers should know about.
Strong hockey opinions are welcome. Criticism should be clear enough to understand and respond to. Facts, allegations and information about other people need to stand up to scrutiny.
An editor reviews your text.
The editors decide whether a submission fits and agree any editing, byline and publication with you. Your voice should remain yours. Substantial changes and any translation are agreed before publication.
Published submissions are labelled as reader contributions or guest columns, with the writer’s agreed name or pen name. Opinions are attributed to the writer. GLID INTE is responsible for its decision to publish.
Sending a proposal does not transfer your copyright or guarantee publication. Before publication, we agree permission to display the text on GLID INTE, any translation and short excerpts used to promote it. Other uses require a separate agreement.
