PRIVACY • PERSONAL DATA

OPEN ABOUT
THE DATA.

GLID INTE should be transparent about what information is used, why it is used and how errors can be corrected.

WHAT WE HANDLE

Hockey people and public information

GLID INTE publishes and structures information about people connected to IK and hockey, such as names, roles, clubs, career history, games, statistics, achievements, drafts, national-team assignments and other information relevant to the site’s editorial content.

Information is primarily collected from official club and federation sources, established hockey databases and media. Social media may be used as a signal or source, but a single social post is not automatically treated as verified fact.

Editorial processing of personal data is carried out to inform about IK, the people around the club and hockey-related events. Rules concerning journalistic purposes and freedom of expression and information may apply to such publication.

VISITORS

Technical logs and anonymised traffic measurement

GLID INTE uses Vercel for web hosting and Supabase for data storage and backend services. For operations and security, technical information may be processed, for example IP address, time, requested page, browser or device information, errors and other log data needed to deliver and protect the service.

To understand which parts of the site are actually used, GLID INTE also stores its own minimised traffic count. It stores page views per hour together with page path, referring domain and language setting. It does not store IP address, user ID, cookie ID, full referrer URL or user-agent and is not used to build individual visitor profiles.

OpenAI is used in parts of the automated newsroom and classification. Resend is used for email flows. X is used for publishing, monitoring and handling public mentions. Data sent to external services should be limited to what each function requires, and private operational credentials are never published.

COOKIES • ADS

Google AdSense and consent

GLID INTE has connected the site to Google AdSense for verification and future ad funding. Google may therefore receive technical information when AdSense code is loaded. Personalised advertising and other storage or access requiring consent must not be used contrary to the visitor’s choice.

AdSense and consent management are being introduced. Before personalised ads are used for visitors in areas where consent is required, a Google-certified CMP supporting IAB TCF must be active and verified in production. Visitors must then be able to consent, refuse consent and manage their choices.

Ad spaces may therefore remain empty while AdSense and the consent flow are completed and verified. GLID INTE’s aim is to keep the site open without paywalls and instead fund it through ads, sponsorship and merch, among other things.

YOUR RIGHTS

ASK. CORRECT. OBJECT.

Depending on the processing involved and the exemptions that apply, you may have rights including access to information about personal data, correction, objection to processing or deletion. The right to deletion is not absolute and may, for example, be limited where freedom of expression and information carries greater weight.

Contact integritet@glidinte.se and state which information or page the question concerns. GLID INTE should not request more information than is needed to handle the matter.

RETENTION

No longer than needed

Editorially relevant history may need to be retained long term because part of the site’s purpose is to document IK history. Technical operational and security data should not be retained longer than necessary for the relevant purpose and the providers’ reasonable operational and security routines.
