Our editorial voice
GLID INTE is the name of our collective editorial voice. Our own articles normally carry that byline. We follow IK from an openly stated supporter perspective, covering both the hockey and life around the club. We are an independent supporter site, not an official IK Oskarshamn channel.
Our own match observations, ongoing coverage and previously published arguments are part of our work. We aim to follow up our questions and assessments over time. An earlier opinion of ours does not become independent evidence simply because we refer to it again.
Guest columns and reader contributions carry a clear format label and the name or alias approved by the writer. They go through a separate editorial review. How to send us a contribution →
Facts, sources and opinions
We should verify results, statistics, transfers and other factual claims against sources that can substantiate them. Official match records and statements from the clubs or people involved are important sources. When information comes from another publication, we credit it and link to the original.
A column or analysis can be direct, personal and critical. Readers should still be able to distinguish facts, our observations and our conclusions. A rumour is not a signed contract, and one party’s account is not necessarily the full picture.
Dacke and our use of AI
Dacke is GLID INTE’s AI assistant. AI is used for monitoring sources, organising material, writing and translation, and in automated publishing workflows for ongoing coverage. GLID INTE’s editorial direction and publishing rules guide that work.
AI-generated wording is not a source in itself. Claims still need supporting evidence when AI has helped with the work, and GLID INTE is responsible for content published under our name. Our English version should convey the same facts and editorial meaning as the Swedish version.
Corrections and feedback
Have we missed something or made a mistake? Email support@glidinte.se with the article link, the claim in question and, if possible, supporting information. Factual errors should be corrected. When a correction changes the meaning of an article, readers should be told what has changed.
The publication time refers to when an article first appeared. A correction or later update should not make an old story appear new.
Funding and independence
We want to keep our content open without paywalls. Merchandise, sponsorships and advertising are potential ways to fund operations; we are developing the commercial model step by step.
Paid content and sponsor placements should be clearly labelled. A partnership buys exposure, not our opinions or a positive article about a club or player. Read about partnerships and our principles →
