It did not take long for a Dead Hollow Carver to appear on a Swiss scoresheet.
Olle Lycksell scored Lugano’s 4–3 goal 49:42 into the season opener against Genève-Servette. Lugano eventually won 6–3.
For us, the connection is obvious. Lycksell is a homegrown player and former IK forward, and he has now made a good start to his next chapter in Switzerland. One game does not make a season, but scoring in the opener is a pretty nice way to begin.
